Works Great...Reviewed by Mary, 2010-02-24
Purchased this for my 7 year old son's room. Works great. You can hang it either tall or long, and the tray that holds the markers will slide on bottom which ever way you decide to hang it. I Haven't had any problems with marks not erasing. We are using it with the "Expo" dry erase markers. There is a clear sheet of plastic on the board that you need to remove before using, which isn't very obvious. I am ordering a 2nd one for my 5 yr old daughter's room as well...can't keep her off her brother's board.

I'd agree that it's magnetic, it's melamine, it's 24x18 in an
aluminum/plastic frame. I disagree on the erasable part. When I
first wrote on it, I thought I must have made a mistake and used a
Sharpie marker instead of a white board marker, because the ink was
just not coming off. I tried a paper towel and sponge with plain
water, then with soap--nothing. I could get about 75% off with
window cleaner. I tried again, this time making sure I had a
dry-erase whiteboard marker: Same thing. Denatured alcohol will get
almost all the marks off, but only almost.
I now use this board as a magnetic holder for paper, and write on
that. If you're primarily getting this thing to make marks, look
elsewhere. As a magnetic bulletin board, it's OK.
Nice and smallReviewed by S. Chung, 2009-11-21
we returned "Board Dudes 22 x 35 Inch Home Decor Magnetic Dry Erase Board (87060UA-4)" and bought this instead and we love this. the boarders are durable and it's a good size. now i am thinking we should have gotten a bigger one. we already ran out of space on the board. but it's a great product! well made!
It's OKReviewed by Tonya N. Strickland, 2009-06-05
It'll do the trick I guess. I bought this for my 5 yr olds room since he likes to draw. But the "dry erase markers" when used on the "dry erase board" doesn't come off very easily. That's my only complaint...which kind of defeats the whole purpose of him being able to play on it all the time, when there's left-overs of other pictures left on the board.
BOARD DOES NOT ERASE!Reviewed by V. Bastos, 2009-03-20
I do not recommend this board at all because whatever you write on it... it does not erase! It will erase if you erase it immediately. However, if you leave writing on it for more than a couple hours it will not erase! Water couldn't even erase the writing. I had to use nail polish remover amd scrub it off. I threw away the board and got an EXPO board and never had any problem with the EXPO one.
